If in a sealed box would the ideal setup have more intake cfm, more exhaust cfm, or should they be equal? Any input is much appreciated.

If smell is a problem you must have more exhaust Cfm, it's called negative pressure, and it stops smells leaking out of the box without going through your carbon filter! You do have a carbon filter right? ;-) If you are MMJ grower this is less of a problem
thanks denial,
the whole design is kinda in the works right now and the pressure is what i was thinking myself, just wasnt sure which way it should go. i am not sure right now if a carbon filter is in the plans as I am just planning on making this a veg chamber. Thanks alot for the input!
I'm in the same position myself at the moment dude. For me I think one exhaust 100-300cfm for my 400watt hps is fine and a can carbon filter.. Give the rvk100a's a look they come in kits for under $100 bucks with the blower, coal filter (and casing) and ducting. kinda simple :) Which will probably be best for us both..
Doing it yourself is apparently quite easy but I don't mind paying the bucks for a blower paired with the correct ducting and coal filter, ya know?
Oh and errrrrrrr I recommend hardboard, thats what im gonna use, but there is of course stuff like the budbox XL growtent, perfect for the serious grower not limited by budget.
Peace,
Denial
yeah i guess everyones situation is a little different, I will look into the setup though because I agree totally, some things are meant to be built and some things are cheaper to buy prebuilt. Thanks again
