does anybody know about how long does it take from the first signs of the hairs changing to when its ready to harvest?
wondering because i have a plant that was having issues that have since been corrected, but there buds havent formed and ive noticed 2 or 3 hairs changing wondering if theres gonna be time for buds to form.
or NOBODY that has ever done it successfully is going to look at my thread.
it's just that your question is to broad. there's not set time on anything, best way to tell if it's time to harvest is to look at the trich's but even then it's personal preference on how you like them, some like 50/50 amber some like less some more.
but i'd say if your plants aren't producing more flowers and has stopped growing in general and if it's been at least 6-8 weeks in bloom then they should get you high if you did cut them down.
but who knows theirs way to many factor to give you a real answer. without seeing your plants or even knowing the strain or how well they have been treated.
thanks for the reply i understand that i cant get a specific answer. but the question is coming from a rookie here... basically i think im just looking to know if i have a few weeks or a few days befor im going to be forced to cut them down.
Your question is totally bereft of any usable information. It's like you're asking, "How long is a short rope?" Try providing some specific information in an understandable manner and probably you can get an answer to your question.
PC :smokin:
ok since i guess nobody understands my question maybe i should try to refraise. When the hairs start to amber up it is towards the end of flowering, correct?
...forget the hairs, follow the trichs...
thankyou for your reply, but the reason i need to know is because i want to make sure to change to freshwater for the last 2 weeks.
Okay, that's fairly simple then.
Assuming that you are not running so hot that the hairs change early, when you notice that the hairs are dying off at a faster rate than fresh white ones are being produced, that is the time to think about flushing. By that point, you should see mostly cloudy trichs with perhaps just a few amber and some clear. At this point, you're within a week or 2 of harvest.
