i just got me a 80mm 6v computer fan and a 6v ac to dc adapter but i dont understand how to connect it ive been trying to figure it out for 2 days already and still nothing can any1 tell me what to do? thank you :)

If it's just 2 wires to the fan (as I suspect), they should be the red and black. You need to either find a female DC power connector that fits your power supply and wire it to the fan. You can also just cut the end off of your power supply and wire it directly to the fan.
It does not matter which wire goes to which. If you reverse the wiring, it will reverse the direction of the fan (so make sure it's flowing in the right direction).

So, like Gainseville said, cut the connectors off the fan wire and off the ac/dc adaptor wire - hook the wires together black->black, red->black. If the fan spins the wrong direction, reverse the wires. If that's too difficult to understand, get someone to do it for you.
