A friend of mine gave me a seed he found. I'm thinking about planting it in my backyard, but have a few questions.
If I allow it, around how tall will a plant grow?
What happens if I harvest too early?
I'd just thought I'd say, I don't even plan to take care of the plant
very much, this would be my first one so I just wanna experiment, see what happens...
You better check with your parent's before you plant that growing seed!
i'm new to growing myself, but there is a little more to it that just planting the seed and watching it grow. although, it's not completely unheard of!

It's all in the math...a half-assed attempt plus a half assed interest in learning the basics, equals 1 crappy result.

i like what rusty said...........basically it all comes down to "you get what you put into it.".........with a half assed experiment you will get half assed results.

not totally true. theres a level of required care in order to make amazing buds, but its doable without much work as well. and remember, 95% of the plant problems on this site were caused by giving the plant TOO MUCH attention.Quote:

Ummm, hows he gonna let it get big or small? U want him to go outside and cover it with a tarp when its sunny??? Is that how he keeps it manageable?? I dont grow ouside, but im sorry i dont think he can manage the size of a plant as easily as u presume, when mama sunshine is beeting down on little baby MJ plant. :fish:Quote:

a plant can be kept small 2 ways:
1) you can cover it if you actually wanted, but its stupid
2) either prune it back constantly (and have a ludicrus number of branches as a result), or use training to keep it short and wide.
