I have like alot, aloooooooot of stems about a half o maybe a o worth nothing but stems. What do you guys thing is the best thing i could do with them. Are they the same potency as the buds? Can i make firecrackers with them or do i have to use more??? Please help me! Thank you

I out 2 oz of stems into a bottle of vodka and it was decent.
Stems smoke harsh! Nuff said!
In cooking, run them through a blender until you have dust and 1/4-1/2 inch long splinters. Sift out and toss the splinters. You should have green dust left. This is not the best stuff to eat, but if your stomach is strong, you can get high by baking them into any recipe with a fair amount of oil in it. Put the stem dust and oil in a pan and heat it gently.You don't want it to fry, but you want it to get hot enough so it is uncomfortable to put your finger in. Strain it or not according to your personal preference. When it is cool and use it in your recipe.
My personal favorite is to just dump my stems in "el Cheapo" vodka and let it sit. Eventually, you can (a) drink it down and get "crunked" in one step. (b) Use it in cooking, (c) let it evaporate down and pour the "sludge" on some pot, let it dry and smoke! :thumbsup: Even poor quality weed can become kick-arse" this way. Have fun- Granny:hippy:
FYI. Im trying to make cannabutter with it its been sittign on low for about 3 hrs now how much longer do u guys think. Every thread i find has diff time and everyone sayign it didnt work left it only up to a hr.
Yesterday morning I gave one of my close friends at least a quarter pound of a mixture of stems of various sizes from huge to tiny, shake from the bottom of my pile of my stems, which included at least a 1/8 ounce of very fine kief from the underneath the shake.
This all piled up over a few months, and I'm a daily smoker, so my pile (like I said, at least a QP) was quite large. I was not going to spend any time making any use of it, since when I want to get high, I simply smoke a bud, not search in my stem/trash pile.
But my friend wanted it, so I gave it to him, as he and his wife had intensive plans. Apparently they've done this before, with much less stems, and had great results. BTW, my stems/shake were all from high potency marijuana, as that's all I smoke.
Anyway, they spent the entire day making cannabutter, and once that was done, baked some brownies. They called me over at midnight, when everything was finally done. As a thanks for the stems, they gave me 8 brownies, and a large tupperware container containing a huge chunk of butter (at least 3 sticks worth).
I haven't eaten weed and gotten satisfactory results in the past, so I was looking forward to this, as they told me they are quite potent. So, I instantly starting eating them. We were smoking from the bong, but it was a strain that I'm used to, and a high that I'm used to, so I was able to distinguish highs.
About a half hour later, while I was on my 4th brownie, I noticed I was completely stoned. I would be staring at the wall, just all stoned. My thoughts would be racing, but I was completely couchlocked. Then I became extremely paranoid about the fact that I'd be driving home with a large amount of cannabutter, and how I'd explain it if for some reason I got pulled over. I normally never get paranoid on smoking weed. I knew it really wasn't a big deal, but the fear of the possibility of getting pulled over wouldn't leave my mind for about 15 minutes.
I then ate 2 more brownies, but couldn't eat my last one, because they were so sweet, and I normally hate chocolate/sweets, but they had cannabis in them, so I ate them anyway. But I couldn't finish my last one, because I was full, and couldn't stand the sweet taste anymore, and was already high.
So, I went home and listened to music and it was greatly enhanced. Like it was back when I first started smoking weed. I was so involved into the music, just sitting their with my eyes closed for a few hours. Then I decided that I wasn't that high anymore.
So I made 4 pieces of toast, which I saturated in the cannabutter. So it was more like "texas toast", in that it was lightly toasted, heavily buttered, lightly toasted, heavily buttered, etc... I then got extremely high, and smoked a few bowls out of my chillum, and repeated my music enjoyment experience, while drinking an energy drink, in order to stay up. But that didn't work, as a half hour later I went to sleep.
My friend woke me up after 7 hours of sleep, because someone let him in, and I was so pissed, because I felt so drained and tired, but whatever, I got up, and now it's today, and I'm smoking weed now, as I don't want anything buttery now, but I plan on making macastoni and cheese tonight.
So, in conclusion, if you have enough stems/trash, etc... and spend the time extracting it into cannabutter, you will get an extremely potent product.
Like they say, one mans trash, is another persons gold, and in this case, it turned out to be true.

You ate seven brownies and then ate cannabutter toast? I would never do that myself, I can ride one brownie for hours... but maybe it is the difference between stems and buds, since I usually bake with a new sack.
No matter though, I'm glad your feast was THC-high.
