Molasses in DWC
I just finished reading 17 pages of posts on the use of molasses. My friend is considering using it now (for flowering) and so I'm trying to find some information for him. The one thing that I could not find specific information on is molasses use in DWC.
I read of many peoples' troubles with pH, sludge-buildup, leaves yellowing, etc., but none were specific to DWC. There was even one post about DWC and molasses, but it had no useful information.
So.... who has done it? Who has used, or is using, molasses for flowering using a DWC setup? I am wanting to know what problems you ran into and how they were remedied. Did your reservoir gunk up? Did your leaves yellow or die? Was your pH too difficult to control?

Molasses in DWC
Never found a need for molasses. I use plant nutrients and a flushing agent (sugar water) in my DWC. I get good buds. I firmly believe that throwing in a couple extra CFLs of the 5800K variety will do much more for your buds than molasses ever could. Try a side by side sometime and check out the difference a little blueish light in budding can make.
