Can some diagnose, or do i even need one?

So i have been asked to post this regarding my buddies plant he is growing. He is also technologically handicapped so that is why i am doing this.

I am not sure what is wrong with this plant or if anything is wrong with it at all. The leaves seem to be curling inward but only the new growth ones and they also seem to be a lighter color. I think the leaves, before the ones you can see, also did the same thing but i cannot remember. The plant is about 1.5 months old and has been LST'd so that is why it is short but is under a 1000w bulb and the temps are rough between 68-78 degrees depending upon the time of day. The humidity is at about 30% - 45% but only as of recently as he jusst bought a humidifier to help the problem of only able to reach a humidity of %20 percent before if he was lucky. I think he s using pretty generic nutes (schultz vegetative stuff 10-8-10) and is being watered a little to often but that will stop immediately.

Could this just be from overwatering and by allowing it to dry out and to be put on a lengthier watering schedule help? It is currently on a 24/0 light cycle for vegging.

I'm not a soil grower but I would do two things......check the ph of your soil runoff and stop feeding fertillizer until you know whats going on. Just water with plain water for awhile until you can figure out the issue......and yes.....i think there is one.

Overwatering is likely. A pH problem is also likely. Have you checked the pH of your runoff lately? Do that, and if it is out of range you will need to flush.
And you have given air temp, but if that plant is sitting on a cold basement floor, you will see that symptoms of overwatering and poor soil pH are greatly amplified.
I really hope you don't have root rot.

i have had the same problem happen to one of my plants. but i watered it every 1-2 days and overwatered on purpose. i thought it happened bcuz over water and too much fert.
