How MM helps my Chronic Pain
I find that there are many varieties of Medical use Marijuana that help with chronic pain both setiva and indica have their useful components depending upon your needs. Some of my favorates are Train-Wreck, Banana, and purple Kush has been a lifesaver.
The way that it works for me is not so much in making pain, as many meds tend to. Rather, it relaxes the muscles and tendons and reduces pain induced stress. This is important for me as my condition effects my conective tissues. Also the degeneration of my spine causes severe muscle knots that usually lead to migraine. (Which I haven't had since I began medically using Marijuana)
Another way that it works is mentally. With chronic pain syndrome comes many feelings of despair, depression, worthlessness, and the constant feeling of pain. For me, a small amount regularly, helps me to not be bothered by the thought that I'll always be in severe pain. It helps me to function in the moment without the nagging idea that I'm doomed. Lastly, it's the best thing for appetite without having dangerous side effects or contra-indications...My other medications make eating difficult or not possible without intervention.

Thank you for using those words. On top of chronic pain (on my left-side), it helps with symptoms from a Traumatic Brain Injury. At least, you described some of what I was going through (in the paragraph above).
But, I laugh at myself. I was voted Class Clown, so, I suppose, it's because I have a good sense of humor. Not because I've been knocked down to a rung, on the ladder, below criminals and murderers.
A life sentence, with pain, seen through a world where everything overlaps and a constant ringing in the ear.
