Does it hurt?

Hey guys, just a quick question....a friend of mine suggested using ice and boiling water in my bong as it will make it smooth as well ice I guess lol. I've also heard that putting ice in will really hurt your lungs so what's the truth here? :hippy:

you can use ice, its fine. i wouldnt use boiling water tho.

dont use crushed ice, the shards will get picked up by the smoke and you'll cut the inside of your lungs and bleed out and die. :thumbsup:

I think, although alot of people may not agree that inhaling ice bongs could eventually cause Pneumonia just as breathing enough cold air in a cold climate could.

I do ice on the reg and im absolutley fine. Makes it nice and cool. For all the skeptics, why would breathing cold air into your lungs cause pnemonia. Its like smoking a cig on a cold winter night.

I have always advocated joints. Water-pipes filter THC. Don't believe me?? Fine read for yourself.

THC is not water soluble

Read the study.... Check the numbers yourself.
Crystallized THC(trichs) are not water soluble. But once vaporized into a gas, THC does in-fact stick to water. Maybe it never dissolves "into" the water, But there it stays trapped.
In fact I would venture to bet my entire rep bar that, the more surface area your smoke touches, the less potent it is when it gets to your lungs. That would include 4' bongs and any multi-chambered device.

i agree i can get much higher off of a bong than i can off of any joint.
