I topped my plant the other day... she's 2 months old and still vegging (space restrictions) ... the top of the plant where i cut has gone a blackish color....
Is this normal or is she Foooooooked ?

It should be fine. It will eventually dry out and just be dead and brown.

hey irishdave.. well this may or may not help you.. i toped mine at about a month and a day or so. when i topped my i had purple oozing outta it. it turn a brown about 2 or 3 days or so.. its fine.. its just the color of the sap inside your plant :) here's a pic of mine that i topped.
It's fine, the node below the split will be the prime growth from now on and pretty soon you won't see the cut at all beneath all the great new foliage. ;)
You can see that the new growth is healthy, which indicates that the plant is not in immediate danger of dying.
Next time you top a plant, leave about an inch of main stem above the node where you want new growth, and CLIP IT SHUT tightly with a notebook or laundry clip to prevent pathogens from entering the hollow stem.
