Calling All Doctors
Well I guess it doesn't have to be doctors.
I enjoy smoking joints (what can i say...) and live on a college campus. I have been testing various ways of covering up the smell so I can walk around campus without worrying about having an offensive odor following me around and tipping off people.
The best solution I've found is to mix a dab of clove powder (<1/8 t) per joint. This covers up the smell nearly 100% and makes its smell like a clove cigarette (with no tobacco!). My buddies and I can walk around campus with no paranoia or worries. It's truly great.
But the question I have is does anyone know if there are adverse health effects of smoking clove powder? I know clove cigarettes are supposed to be worse than regular cigarettes but I'm not sure if that is because of the cloves or some other factor. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Merry Christmas and Happy Smoking!

So it seems like you are trying to smoke on the go? I know this isnt the answer but maybe it could still mask the odor and emliminate the clove powder.
Remember you asked and I am just saying this is environmentally friendly, no health risks, and youll smell good. Back when I used to smoke places I shouldnt, we took a toilet paper roll (without the paper just the tube) ans stuffed a sheet of fabric softner for the dryer inside. When you exhale and blow the smoke into the tube the no smoke or smell of weed comesd out the other end. Helps keep your car and clothes from smelling like pot at the same time.

You can go to the Erowid site or Google "smoking cloves" and find out more than I can tell you from a medical perspective. I expect people have smoked a lot of cloves over the centuries because they're so fragrant. I've never read medical literature saying clove smoke is harmful, but I've never red anything saying it's not, either.

I did the same thing when I lived in the dorms- cloves work well.
One-hitters can also be your best friend- they look discrete, and as long as you're not right up near someone, the smell is hard to trace because you're not burning paper as well.
Make sure to use a doob tube when smoking in dorms, though smoking in dorms is a good way to get caught.
