I foresee there are individuals of religion that attend the board, so I don't want to offend any personal rituals. After taking a little hit off the vape I started to wonder if religion could become similar to the affect of a drug on the human brain. Before you take aim, understand that addiction may cause effects of serious damage, including if the addiction becomes widespread.
Aim.

Yea thats a good thought you have. I think there is a pretty famous quote that goes like "Religion is the opiate of the masses". Why don't you ponder that for a little bit.

Religion gets you far, no doubt about it. Look at the expansion of the world as it is today. But if this opiate was replaced with another, perhaps there won't be the negative side effects?

But what else is there that could have civilized the world as quickly as religion did?
I guess that forces us to ask the question if it is even worth it to be civilized. I don't think I would mind hunting food in the jungle and doing whatever the hell I felt like...as long as it was ok with my tribal leaders, which it probably would have been. haha.

how about.

Yea I think that one has a lot of truth to it too.

Could you imagine how it was for our earliest ancestors before a religion? Much unrest, a lesson of what is too hostile to not acknowledge and respond. You cannot cut through the probability that religion could be a part of the evolution of human thought.
