Swab/Saliva Questions

Hey guys, I applied for a job recently and was wondering about saliva testing. When I went in, I stopped smoking about 37 hours prior to the test (5 good sized bowls), brushed my teeth, used mouthwash, etc. I have a pretty fast metabolism (5 10, 125 lbs.) Prior to this I had been clean for 2 months naturally.

The swab was attached to a sky blue stick that i was asked to just "place in my mouth". I stuck it partly on my teeth and in between my cheek, trying to get the least contact possible.

I left it in for about 2 minutes, didn't have to move it or scrape my cheek or anything. after this, I put it into a small capsule filled with blue liquid, put the cap on, and it was sent to a lab, im guessing since they packaged it.

Im curious, it has been 2 days, no response and I go in today for my second day of work. Do you think I'm screwed?

I don't know how it is with swab testing, but with a urine test, if you don't hear anything by the 3rd or 4th day, your usually in the clear. You usually know if you're positive within the first 48 hrs. That being said, I don't know how long a saliva test actually takes.

In the meantime, I would abstain from smoking until you at least get your first paycheck.
