If I was to make hash oil useing the butane method could i eat that?
Probably yes... butane evaporates easily, so seconds after the oils extraction it is already vaporized, leaving pure hash oil.
yes you definitley can. but you must make sure that all butane has evaporated! :)
I got a similar question though instead of Butane i used Acetone. I put leaves, some bud and stems in to a glass container, filled it with acetone enough to cover everything, let it sit for a day now i was goin to pour it out into another jar through a coffee filter then heat it up [but not really hot or open flame since its flammable] to evaporate the acetone quicker leaving me with some nice sticky hash....this is correct right in my steps?
I've done it. I made quite abit of hash oil [using the butane method] and cooked it up with butter [not for as long as with normal bud/hash] and made brownies. And as you could imagine, it's ALOT stronger. a chunk of cake will do the trick - if you eat too much when it kicks in you'll be out like a light.
am i right to what im doing with acetone, i wana make sure before i strain it through the fitler
if i was you, i would not eat the acetone tinciture no matter how much it has or has no evaporated. only smoke the acdtone tinciture.
your method seems ok to me. it should work.
i use everclear 190 proof alcohol to make the hash oil. it is edible definitley, thats why i use it. with the others....they arent really edible. but white lightening is edible definitley. people drink it safely all the time.
that is why i reccomend the use of everclear grain alcohol, 190 proof. 15 bucks at the grocery store.
Oh no, im deff smoking it, i strained it trhough a coffee filter into a glass jar thats submerged in boiling water
