Sorry I am not trying to run away here, but im gonna ask a Q here.
I have these 2 bulbs and i was wondering if nebody knows if they r "quality"?
1. 400w MH conv. by a brand called "Grow Power". It says "Super Horicultural Lamp" on the box.
2. 400w HPS by "GrowBright". It says "LU400/HORT" on the side.

cwesto, I'm moving this to its own thread in indoor lighting. No one is gonna see it in KB's grow log... promise.
If it has a ANSI rating on the package, it's a quality bulb.Quote:

DutchPimp, they both say for S51 ballasts, i didnt see anthing saying ANSI on it tho

From my experience, GrowBright is crap. I've been told such by others and the 600w HPS bulb my friend ran blew within a month of use.
