where the fuck do you guys put them, i put mine like in front of my plants but its kind of under my HID is that cool or is it gonna fry it. Also keeping that shit in my closet with my exhaust blowing into my room is that bad to be breathing in that stuff
I just hung mine up tonight on a wall mounted hook above the HID... also check out the instructions. It says to use in places that are occupied by humans LESS THAN 4 HOURS A DAY (click the pic to read the directions)

I put mine in the room/closet with the plant for 4 days, then I took it out and put it in another room in my house leading to my room. I figue this will help keep some away from the house/animals. Then when I switched the light I put a new one in the room again for 4 days or so, and then took that one out and it put it in a different room. I heard that when you switch to 12/12 they may come back because they were hiding (where I dont know:-)), but when I did this I never seen one agian. So did it work, for me yeah. I had them, I got a no pest strip, now they are gone and have not returned.
well its in my closet. Nobody occupies it at all lol. So what am i supposed to do hang it up during the day when i am not in there then at night when i sleep put it in a different room?Quote:

I've used No-Pest strips, like, forever :) I just hang them in the same room, never had a bug problem ( I figure the insect has to get thru that room, before it gets into the cabinet )... the strip supposedly lasts 3 months, about a month before harvest, so that works out perfectly for me :smokin:
What I do, since the chemical contained in the strip (dichlorvos) is quite dangerous, (the strip is never enough to do you any actual harm) is shut off the ventilation and seal up my grow room with the strip inside during a lights off period and then I take it out, put it back in the pouch it came in and tape the top up. Only 2-3 dark periods should be enough, if you seal up your room adequately. The concentration of vapor builds up quite higher than the ammount it is supposed to reach depending on the size of your grow room. I suggest airing it out as quickly as possible after you have resealed the strip away. Sealing the strip back up actually insured you can use it again and again to "bomb" your room if a problem ever arises. The chemicals are so strong, there is no need to leave it constantly there, the strip is actually designed for unoccupated areas which constantly have new insects coming into them, for example an unused trailer or shack. Once the spidermites or whatever are all dead, your room should be free of them for a while so you can save your strip for another potential invasion.
