I wanted to share my thoughts on the main black ideas that ones mind can have. Everyone has one day or another some dark thoughts that just keeps pourring and pourring untill something good happens or... well until it goes directly to suicide, murder or insanity after the mind is saturated by those thoughts.
Now, what are those dark thoughts, how and why do the come to mind and is there a way to counter them?
First, here are some dark thoughts :( that I had and some that remains: humans are the cancer of this planet, we are causing our own doom, nothing good will come out of human nature in the end, trust no one but yourself and even so be warry of your weakness since deceit can come from within and so on. I know there is alot of positive ideas that counter them but the point is that those thoughts exists and that is just a droplet of water in the ocean shown up there and those are general thoughts but actually they can take a lot of forms...more or less violent :mad: one another.
Second, the sources of those thoughts are of course all around us. From a simple domestic disagrement to hell that africans live presently, wich we see and hear all the time, we get angry at the world and at ourselves at the same time. No need to explain why we get angry at the world as it is obvious. As for being angry at ourselves, well it depends on the person's view of things but in the end we get angry at ourselves regardless of the type of person you are. I could say thought that humanists suffers more than utilitarists when looking at the african conditions in a general base, with their represented values. On the other hand, you have the utilitarist who hates himself for missing an opportunity that would have caused great pleasure to him. That is just generaly speaking but even if each individuals are unique, we can group them with a certain set of common values wich have their own causes and consequences regarding dark thoughts.
Third, I know there are optimistic and pessimistic people here so one would think that the optimistic ones are those who will show the light in these dark times but that is incorrect. When dark thoughts are present in your mind its hard for you or the optimistic guy to connect and exchange thoughts each other. Its like oil and water..they just dont mix. And what about the other pessimistic guys? yes they are more capable of connecting with this state of mind but as far as helping each other...that I doubt it but its not impossible...eck anything can happen and its better being with someone than being alone actually. So what will get rid of those evil thoughts...time heals many wounds and it might help. With what destiny might reveal in time or some happy events might change a persons thoughts completely. I think that the fastest way to get rid of them is to talk to ourselves, or for the religious type, talk to god, either way is good. Listen to the little voice inside your head and forget that you are a human being living on earth. See yourself as pure energy waiting to shine brighter than ever and go do things out of the ordinary like hum give free hugs in a shopping mall just like my dear friend Juan Mann. Basicly, the answers are deep in your identity and you must never deny it and you must accept your weaknesses, and basicly who you are to get rid of those thoughts.
Finaly, I had my share of recent and painful events that clouded my mind with dark thoughts and it still remains even thought I might be able to get rid of them and go back to my normal optimistic self I think my sorrows are to near to go back. To make it a quick story...I got dumped by my gf after 3 and a half years of happyness and she meant like the world to me and I never saw this coming (we where looking for a house and we thought about kids and well she was my life partner), so she left with a younger guy wich she new him like just 2 weeks before they got together. Anyway, in 3 days she was out of the appartment so I have to pay it alone...wich I cant afford so now Im using my credits cards and tumbling down the rabbit hole haha. 1 week after the beak up my car broke down so now I walk to go to school (50 min to go)and well my motivation for schoolwork as gone to zero. Thats the big picture...there are details that are important but this will do to understand.
So now I got those dark thoughts but they come and go as the days are good or bad but there is one thought that is constantly there and I just didnt succeed at getting rid of... Its my trust in love and women (I know there are good gals out there but how can I tell since I got screwed..). I am wondering if I should change my view of love to a more...lets says pleasure basis rather than a highly honorable and noble value.
