If I'm not mistaken Bavet - another member here is deaf too .
I have a cochlear implant now but sound quality isn't all that great .

We're you deaf from birth or ??? Concussion from an explosion and experimental antibiotics did it to me .

At times being deaf is kind of a blessing . :)
