First Harvest with help from Cannabis.com

I have been on my first hydro grow with the help of this board and tonight I started to harvest. :jointsmile:

I had a really bushy one and a skinny but big budded one(unknown strain, tall one does look like Chemo as Opie mentioned before). I think the harvest went well. I only chop the top 40% because the bush was so thick and I wanted to see if I could get the little buds on the bottom to mature some more. Of the material I took, after I cleaned it up, I have 550g wet. I have no clue what dry will be but the buds are really dense and it are very sticky. Either way I am very happy for only running a 400 HPS. Now time to add a 1K, 6 new friends (ATF in veg now), and a better vent fan.

Thanks to all for the help, it sure is fun to grow your own. Now I just have to wait a few more weeks. No smokey until we can cure for a little while.:rastasmoke:

Yes that is only two plants, one was a monster. The other one I left for dead when I switched the light and it almost yeild what the busher plant did.

That picture sure shows a nice bowl of weed. Try not to smoke it all at once. It sure is nice to see all you efforts come together. Nice job.

Rule of thumb is dried/cured weight will be approx 25% of wet harvested weight. Too many factors to have this be an exact estimation but even if you lose 75% due to water vapor that still leaves you with a big pile of nuggs... Congrats on the harvest!
