I know someone posted this with a formula cant seem to find it. I would like to figure how many amps I am pulling on a circut, i know it was adding up all watts and either mult. or divideing by something.

1000 watts = 10 amps roughly.
Most residential wiring is suited for a total of 15 amps, however you should calculate only an 80% load for safety reasons.
If you are using something like an oven or dryer outlet, they handle typically 20amps, sometimes 30amps.
watts = amps x volts
amps = watts / volts
The fixture watts may be as much as 115% of the lamps rating depending on the efficiency of the ballast.
