Hopefully this will offer some relief to some people. It could go in the results page although I haven't taken the official LabCorp test as of yet. This was just the Pharmatech MJ Home test.
Background information: 6'1, 150lbs, very fast metabolism, not really a healthy eater, smoke cigarettes, been smoking MJ for about 2 years daily, anywhere from 10-12 bat hits and maybe a bowl mixed in there with a buddy every few nights. Quality was so-so, but I don't know if that *really* matters. I've read mixed results on that, especially when the amount of time and amount its pretty constant. Usually about a half every 3-4 week is what I burn.
I knew at the company I am going to they have a required UA, and I was short on time. I was able to buy an extra week giving me 14 days of abstinance by the time I tested.
For the first few days, I really did nothing, because I have very little body fat and from what I read working out wasn't going to do me a lot of good. And drinking lots of fluids days before hand does nothing (except make your current co-workers think you have a prostate problem at a very young age). Then started my creatine regiment roughly 7 days before my real test *4 days as of now*. I bought something at The Wall, don't remember the exact name but you take 7 horsepills with gatoraid seems to do the trick. Did that every morning.
I bought two home tests from The wall, one to try on the first void of the morning, and one to try with the N2 dilution method (less the Vit B2 since it just has to do with coloring).
Tuesday, start the creatine. Lived my regular life, which is just sitting a lot. Took my first test on Thursday morning on my first void. Got a *real* faint line, so much so that I questinoned its ability to true. So I knew I wasn't comfortable just doing it clean.
Waited a few more days until today. Took Asprin (not tylonol or advil or aleve, but actual asprin) @ 8am and 1pm. Ate Taco Bell for lunch, 32oz soda. Had two bottles of water afterwards. Over the past few days its been a combination of chiken and pizza. A lot of eating out. Started gatoraide load around 4:30pm this evening. 4 12oz glasses of gatoraide in about 4:45 minutes (seriously, you can only drink that shit so fast). Started pissing clear and about every 15 minutes (where the Vit B2 comes in, but I didn't because I knew didn't have to have the color for myself). between 4:45-6:00 I voided 4 times. 6:15 I voided into my pharmatech cup. temp was fine, 94, (but my bathroom is kind of cold) still well within our range. Dropped the dip stick, and waiting about 7 minutes.
Although urine was rather clear (expected), I had two *very* distinct lines (unquestionable in any sense). What a sense of relief! So now, I just have 3 more days of sobriety until my actual test, but feeling incredibly confident (just need to pick up the vitamin B2 and I'm solid). I know I can't measure the creatinine content with the home test, but again, with following the steps and using gatorade instead of water I'm pretty good to go.
Once I pass for real, I'll move this to the results thread (or ask to be done). But again, feeling great about having this thing in place. Now on to a nice very well paying job, and back to the chron chron in a couple days.
