I have a bud Q.
ok so my I have a DWC grow.and the buds R reaty to harvest very soon on 1 of the 2 plants.
and on the other plants main cola there is 99.9% of the hairs R still white.
so should I harvest that one at the same time as the other plant or can I let its cola finish growing for a nother 2-3 weeks or whatever.
and maybe I could cut off the browning top of the cola and still grow the bottem half of it.
and I am for sure that there is no seeds in this plants main cola.
becuz I looked closely with a scop.
thanks for UR input on this.

^^ Just let the 1 Do what it needs to do, don't get over excited, I know its on the brink of finishing, but Patience. IMHO don't cut it at all.
Harvest the 1 and wait on the other, and you will be much happier. Good Luck!

I have a bud Q.
Using a 10x30 hand held small microscope that you can pick up from Radio Shack for about $20 is the best way to determine the final maturation/maturity of your buds. You can cut off a top cola if you feel the need to as well and do a staggered harvest, meaning you harvest different parts of the plant at different times, generally starting off with the upper half.
There is a thread in the FAQ that explains how to use a microscope to determine the harvest time of your buds. I have one, but have gottn't to the point that I am comfortable enough with my particular strains to harvest at a set time. You can also sample a part of the top cola and if done to satisfactory cut. Just make sure there is not any bad oquard odors coming from the browning top koala because certain kinds of rots and molds can do that as well and mold spoors can spread to other buds really quick.
