First time growing...question about height
Hello-
This is my first time growing, and i have a question. My two females are about 2 and a half feet to 3 feet tall. They are 8 weeks old, both beginning to be covered with the white hairs!
These are just "mids," will they continue to grow vertically or will the growth be concentrated on the buds?
Thanks!

when you switch to 12/12 lighting the will focus on the buds and the height will double about:rastasmoke:

If it's just a commercial strain from Mexico, Columbia, etc., then it's probably got a good bit of sativa in it. Without any kind of training or pruning, you can realistically expect your plant to grow anywhere from 1.5-3 times the size it was when you flowered it. Many will grow beyond that if given enough light, nutrients, and soil/root space.

If it is in the early stages of flowering, is it too late to prune? Space is kind of limited, so i dont want to these things to turn into trees

by the sounds of it you havent changed lighting yet, and they are just preflowers. id suggest topping it (removing several nodes of top of main stem-look it up) in order to extend the growth outwards and delay some of the upwards growth for a bit.
give it a week to heal if ya do that, then start the 12/12, cuz its gonna be a 5ft plant. any pics?

they have been under 12/12 for almost two weeks
First time growing...question about height
your getting to the point where you should either do it or forget about it(try Lst). really you should have topped it in veg, i did it between 1wk and 2 before with no real loss because i had too. if space is really going to be an issue, i would, but soon so you dont loose too much bud mass.

I would say that you are right at the point where the stretch will start to die off a little. Decent and noticeable bud production starts soon after. Its all a downhill ride from here!
