Right from the old horses mouth. He dodges a bit but ya know where he's coming from. NOWHERE does he state that the states would be able to perform legal abortions. Pay close attention to the comment on the day after pill located at 3:20.

Technology advancement is going take "embryonic stem cell" research off the debating table.
He is for or against abortion ? I don't know.
Ron Paul on Abortion and Stem Cell Research
He is personally against abortion, but he doesn't support the federal government involvement in the matter citing constitutional reasons. Jeez...What a dictator!

SURE he isn't........from your site:
Life and Liberty
The right of an innocent, unborn child to life is at the heart of the American ideals of liberty. My professional and legislative record demonstrates my strong commitment to this pro-life principle.
In 40 years of medical practice, I never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman.
In Congress, I have authored legislation that seeks to define life as beginning at conception, HR 1094.
I am also the prime sponsor of HR 300, which would negate the effect of Roe v Wade by removing the ability of federal courts to interfere with state legislation to protect life. This is a practical, direct approach to ending federal court tyranny which threatens our constitutional republic and has caused the deaths of 45 million of the unborn.

Man you guys sure do dig to try and find any kind of negativity about this man that you can. Who care if he is against abortion it is his personal choice as well as with all the other candidates that are pro life this is ridiculous! There are a lot more bigger issues than the personal opinions on Pro life/choice. I may not agree with everything he says like abortion, but as far as I can tell he is the only damn man solid enough up there. He has the guts to say what he thinks. He is not in the pockets of any special interest groups, and to me that is a huge plus for him. I don't understand what you people are so scared of? Are you afraid of change? Do you like big government? Do you enjoy your money just going right back into the pockets it came from? If you don't agree with him fine, but for god's sake please stop bringing this into the debate! He is not the only one running who is pro life! Hell the earmarks are better than this dead argument.

I don't hate Ron Paul, but do we really want to risk the return of coathangers, and back alley medical care, for women who need abortions?

So you're saying RP is the only candidate who supports pro life? What do you mean by "need abortions"?
