You've got no soil lighteners... this is going to be difficult.
You need to flush that plant out well using 3x the volume of the pot in water that has been pH adjusted according to the soil pH (determine by runoff test). You want your soil to be at pH 6.5-6.8 after the flush.
Extra holes in the pot will make this process easier. If it has a built-in drip tray, remove it.

What are soil lighteners?
Anything i can add to the soil to help.

Lighteners in order of preference for indoor use:
Perlite- the best! The white crackly stiff in potting mix
Vermiculite- Also good- looks like mica- sorta
Sand- Not the best, but you could use it in an emergency. I don't recommend it though.
Lighteners improve drainage and aeration of the soil. You REALLY need them indoors. Pre-mix them before putting the soil in the pot.

hate to hijack the thread but I have a question for Stinky on this. Do you want to do 3x the volume o the pot at once or 3x the volume of the pot throughout seperate waterings? ie: letting it dry between each pot volume watering?
I did this to my plants, but only used 1x volume of the cup and will probably do it again in a few more days unless told to do otherwise.
Thanks

im sure everyones method varies but it doesnt make much sense to me flushing over a long period of time in smaller portions , the whole put is to use a high volume of water to FLUSH out the excess salts that build up over time from nutes , so in my humble opinion it wouldnt be very beneficial to use small quantities of water over time vs when i flush i use 3x as much water as the size of the pot ALL IN ONE SESSION just think of it as giving ur soil a bath ..... u wouldnt wash your arms then hop out the shower wait a day then wash ur legs an so on an so on ..... hope that helps -Take Care an Happy Growing -
