difficult choice

alright well I got drug tested for school once and I came up positive for morphine which suprised me because I used my brothers piss who hardly ever drinks and never does anything. I thought it could have been poppy seeds but I can't even recall him eating that. so I researched a little bit and found out that Saint John's Wort and Valarian Root can cause false positives. Well I went in a second time to get a verified drug test (of course this time with someone elses piss) and everything was fine for two weeks until they e-mailed me telling me I need to set up a meeting to discuss the recent results of the drug tests. I have no idea whats in store for me but just in case I'm going to assume another drug test is on the way. Now my question is because this is going to be in a week should I inform my brother not to take any more natural herbs and whatnot for a week and then use his piss or should i just assume he will cause another false positive and use someone elses piss? Problem with using someone elses is that its more difficult to attain and set up given my circumstances. Also I should let you know this decision is very dire for it could alter the course of the rest of my life.

damn that sucks, i say tell your brother not to take anymore herbs cause u dont know what other people have in there piss and u could come up positive for somthing much worse then whatever your trying to avoid

well see thats the problem...its like this comming Friday and I don't know if thats good enough for him to just stop for a few days and still come out clean...I mean he takes it everyday. On another note I checked out my schools protocal on drug testing and they said if they are suspicious of me consuming any drug whatsoever they will give me a written exam to test my cognitive abilities to see if I am withdrawling from illicit substances such as pot. Anyone ever take a written drug test?

If somebody is trying to give you a *WRITTEN* test for drugs, just tell them that your not biting on that particular twinky because you know what its filled with and you don't want to step in it either.

now... knowing that you are gonna get tested, WHY are you still toking....especially considering that it could have life altering consequences for you. If you know this, and insist on toking anyway... you really need to get your priorities straight.

Seriously? I've been on court ordered drug testing for a while now...and this might be the most obvious answer I've ever encountered. Stop smoking or quit school, man. Its obvious that whatever you're going into isn't very weed-friendly, so why would you continue to blaze? Not everyone can get away with smoking up...and as it was said before me, this is a clear case of priorites.

You know what you need to do: Get your priorities straight.
You can't be getting kicked out of school for smoking. It's not worth it. You have a lifetime ahead of you- a lifetime that will go much smoother if you play by the rules until you're in a position to make your own. If you are serious about being there, lay off the herb long enough to convince them that you're clean. Is this a high school btw?

I don't know how else to say this but if you subbed with someone's urine to hide your pot smoking and it was positive for morphine, the chances of it coming from valarian root or St. John's Wort has to be a million to one if not worse. Despite what you may have read on the net, if the sample was confirmed using GC/MS there is no way GC/MS would confuse the metabolites of morphine (morphine glucuronide) with the metabolites of the active chemicals in valarian root or St John's wort. Your body can't change the chemicals from the herbal supplements into morphine glucuronide no matter how hard it tries. These websites that talk of false positives are usually also trying to sell detox drinks and such for drug tests and by scaring you they can increase sales. Technically, poppy seeds are not a false positive either, they are a positive because they can contain small amounts of opiate alkaloids. You have to consume a rather large amount to test positive from poppy seeds.

Was this a test for high school that used an instant test or for a college that sent it to a lab?

I suspect your brother isn't telling you the whole story.

I would definitely agree with the above posts and would quit toking I did for 3 years on probation, it's just cannabis it's not worth it when you say it can change your life for the negative.

Plus if you are already substituting and like FBR said there may be something your brother isn't telling you, then just use quick fix, same exact thing as substituting basically but you know it is clean.
