Storing Keeps

Sorry if this has been asked before, i did search for an answer but found mixed views.

Whats The Best way to store weed n keep its potency both long n short term?

E.g. 1. An ounce for up to 2/3 weeks max

&
2. Few ounces or a bar for upto 10months or more

I want to store keeps for when theres a drought but keep its pontency.

I hear that freezing it in cling film is good but what about defrosting it? Wont it be damp

Then i hear NOT to freeze it but keep it in a dark cool place [Fridge maybe?]

Are mason jars the best option to store it in? because i dont really want to pay £100 for them foodsavers.
Would i keep it in the mason jars alone? could i wrap it in cling film in the jars?

P.s successful help wud be good cause i dont want to try it and destroy my stash :D

Store in CO2 injected bags in the freezer. Light and the presence of of oxygen degrades THC.

and where can i get them from? what bout defrosting?
