Anyone have a similar situation?

The company I work for introduced us to Pre and Post drug/background checking about 3 months ago. This company has never had any kind of testing since they became a business. I still have not been tested for drugs and a lot of the people there don't think they will test. I work for a data center, and a lot of our customers are funded by our government. I noticed on the sheets that we had to sign it sated that this new testing partly due to new contracts with companies and for safety. Is anyone else in the same situation where they have randoms, but don't ever have to drop? Also does anyone in here think they will be doing randoms? I think we had to sign all of this BS just to get a couple contracts going.

Is it normal for someone to be in the room while you are dropping for a company? I know my mom said that a lady was in the bathroom with her when she had to take her drug test.
