Flying with a grinder

So I'm flying home tomorrow and I want to bring my grinding back with me. I'm going to be carrying my bag on so think its a bad idea to put the grinder into 5 or 6 plastic bags and put it in my carry on?

put it in a shaving kit, and put it in your CHECKED luggage, not carry on..
They instruct you in training NOT to look for drugs. You are to be looking for bombs and bomb making supplies, mace, etc..

PS. when you get your boarding pass and you have SSSS in any corner, get ready for the DELUXE search..

I would put it in my checked luggage but I wasn't planning on checking anything.

the problem with carry on is not the smell, when your bag goes through the Xray, it is going to appear as a OPAQUE item, which on the screeners monitor is going to be a DARK/BLACK item and more in likely will be a bag search done.

I would suggest find something to check even a hand bag,
or mail it home to yourself..
Lately with the "red team" federal testers cracking down on the fuck ups that screeners are letting on, it might be a bad move on your part..

Why are you worried about your grinder? If you clean it out and make sure there's no weed/keif in it you should be fine right? Hell, grind up some tobacco with that bad boy before you get on the plane...herb grinders aren't illegal, just the stuff that goes in them.

but, they find any trace amounts, and the CAN fuck you.. And most of the time LEO's, law enforcement officers are out to look good.. and would jump on the chance to rip your nut sack off like a paper towel.. not worth the trouble

I'm pretty sure that if you clean the thing out with water and whatnot, they're not going to find any little traces of weed. Granted, I've never traveled on a plane with any MJ related things, but I don't see how a clean grinder could get you in trouble. For all they know it's brand new.
