Glass Filter For a Glass Pipe?

Hey guys, first post here so just saying hi.

Got a quick question though, I just got a new glass pipe, and don't really want a metal screen, is there a glass or other alternative than a metal screen?

they sell little glass screens at most headshops which are just little pieces of glass shaped like a star that go over the hole so it doesn't pull through. or just use a little tiny rock you can find outside.

a plug nug my dude. am i the only one that dosent have problems with weed getting sucked in my bowl?

ha I like the rock idea, after a while the resin builds up anyway so i won't need it for long right?

Even on a clean bowl, the weed will stick together enough when you pack it that it won't go through the hole. Its kinda like a funnel, where if you have too much trying to get out it will clog it up, so just smoke the bowl and fuck the screen.

metaphor i dont have problems with weed getting sucked through as long as i put bigger pieces on the bottom..

ya i always just save a nice lil bud that plugs the hole and throw all the more finely ground stuff over it.

i never really have problem with my bowls or bubbler, but on bongs i do have a problem, as the hole always seems to be much bigger and i get mad when i see green pieces of nug floating in my bong water.

yeah, the rock is good because they are free and usually easy to find and i always lose the little glasses screens when i do buy them. once the resin builds up it becomes less important but on one of my bongs i usually need something because it has a really big bowl with a really big hole.
