Double the lumens??

OK, this may be a dumb question, but so goes it...

I recently purchased a 2 light 4' fluorescent strip. I choose the bulbs with the most lumen to fill it (T12/40W/3400Lumens).

Now here's my "dumb" question: Since I have 2 bulbs, does that mean I have 6800 lumens???

If each is rated at 3,400 and you have 2 then yes.
