I was listening to Zandors podcast and he says aeroponics are almost 50% faster at growing the plants than hydroponics, and hydro is faster than dirt, why wouldn't everyone grow aeroponic?

Because it's hard.
Because there is NO margin for error. You lose power, you lose your crop.
It happened to a cashcropper buddy of mine... a profit-oriented fella who wanted those huge yields that the aeroponics manufacturers promise. We had an ice storm and lost power for 3 days. He lost his entire crop. Meanwhile my compost garden just kept on chugging along...
At the end of the race, the tortoise outran the hare.
if I had a large investment to protect, it would be a simple matter to have a $300 generator standing by for power outages ... your cash-cropper didn't think too far ahead ... karma - GO TORTOISES !! or, would that be 'torti' ?? ...
touche reaper. Alright, let's say the power doesn't go out, would it be a good idea then? I like the idea of soiless, and aero seems to be better than hydro.
yea if u kno wat your doing
