A Cooking Experiment (help please)

Well... im a somewhat experienced "cooker" with weed, hash and etc, tried mixing it with several things while cooking, some with good results, some with not-so-good results...

Anyway, my question is: given an amount of weed (or, in my case, hash oil), what would be the solvent i should use to get the highest possible from that given amount of weed/hash oil?

Ive already solved the hash oil in alcohol, thus making green dragon, in molten chocolate making hash oil chocolate, in molten cheese making weed sandwiches, in pure fat making a greenish and ugly thing. I got high most times, but all this attempts were done several months apart, and with different amounts of hash oil, so i coudnt determine what way was the more efficient, to getting higher with the smallest amount of hash oil.

So, it would be nice to make an experiment using the same amount of hash oil and different solvents, to determine which is the better. I would like to do it, but my amount of hash oil is VERY limited, and cooking with it uses far more than simply smoking it, so unfortunately i must stick to smoking it and dream with the good times when i had acess to large amounts of good weed... goooood times... how i miss them... anyway... if someone is willing to do the experiment, please do it. It would be very helpful to all us cooking stoners. :thumbsup::eat::stoned:

anything with a high fat content... the trick is to get the right cooking temperature for the reaction to take place and to have the weed/hash ground up as much as possible

You say that cooking takes more weed than smoking...Couldn't you just cook a bowl and use the relative amount of ingredients to get "1 dose"?

Oh I know its more effective. I meant cant you use a small amount of green, say like a quarter gram, and relate the amount of butter or ghee or whatever to that?

That way you dont use up your whole stash on one recipe.

good question im sure you can but it would be nice to know the exact amount... might have to go look it up

Well... maybe cooking is more efficient than smoking raw weed... but i smoke only hash oil, that is FAR more efficient than weed... like... i need about 1/2 joint to get decently high... yet if i take the amount of weed i use for rolling this 1/2 joint and make hash oil, the amount of hash oil i get is enough for more than 5 highs... maybe some 8 highs... and if i get this amount of hash oil, make green dragon (what i think its one of the more efficient ways for drinking it) and drink it, i will get almost as high as if i had smoked the 1/2 joint, what is not too much high.
So, cooking may be more efficient than smoking raw weed, but its no match for smoking hash oil... and thats why i wish to know the most efficient way for eating/drinking it.

This is a really good question, and I would like to know the answer too. I mostly use alcohol solutions, so I do not have any experience to compare using fats, oils, glycerine, etc.
