a new way of smoking??????

ok well with the kief collecting grinders and presses on the rise people are all into making their own hash.
the typical thing to do is just collect kief and put it in a for a while with some heat and w voila
now this is all fine and good but not everyone gathers kief fast enough to make a decent portion

im starting to try putting bud in the press

now ive experimented with just pressing and no heat and all it does is shrink it and i feel like the smoke was smoother when i burned the little brick in my piece

then i thought heating it would change the results and they have

what i got was a seemingly lacquered and burnt brick now i dont think it was actually burnt but i think it released chemicals from the weed and once it cooled became a crystallized surface. why its black, not quite sure but it wasnt the pressing plastic because theyre unharmed also it smells much better but thats prob just the weed activated and whatever

i have a space case press, which only cost me $30 on ebay anyone else out there willing to give this a try, maybe someone out there with a fancy overpriced press?

smoking this definatly seemed smoother than the just the bud in it original form, also make sure to smoke past the complete dusting of the brickette

one other note, honey oil like substance was definatly sieving out from it and it stuck onto the plastic presses and the metal.
