this should be in the 'Hydroponics' section, but ... for the most part, hydroponics is growing plants in containers of artificial medium, and feeding the plant with water, containing the nutrients ... air is also frequently bubbled thru the solution, for improved growth, etc.. ... I grew in soil for 41 years, and am doing my first hydro grow now ... while not as simple as soil, it isn't beyond anyone's reach ...
