Microwaving Marijuana

For quite a while now people have been telling me that microwaving weed is bad and it takes away like a lot of thc and the weight. but whenever i get like a damp .5 or somethin i always microwave it for 10 seconds then put it in the freezer for 15 seconds and it comes out bone dry and when i smoke it i still get really baked. they think i just started or somethin but ive been smoking for 3 years straight almost. anything i could probably let them know about it? its gettin real annoying.
