Crispy seedlings part 2

1st off thanks for all the help.
So i started the white label reg double gum seeds.Had problems with over watering.With advice problems seemed to subside.Feeding with half strenth miracle grow(once,maybe twice in 2nhalf weeks,these are maybe 4/5 weeks old)But still the plants look under/over watered.I will change to proper feed once sex is known.
They`re still looking sad,left them til the pots felt light,waterered with day old tap water orginal ph,6.9-7.0,taken down to 5.5/6.Still no improvement,they`re not even looking towards the light.Can anyone tell me whats up? loads of light(600hps for 63sq ft) loads of air x 8inch exhaust and 8" intake,temps at low 80`s lights on.Take a look,

What is your soil mixture like? If you're using a medium that already has slow-release nutes premixed, then you probably shouldn't be feeding any supplemental fertilizer to the plants. These soils generally have enough fertilizers mixed in to get the plant through a month or two of vegetative growth, and adding more could contribute to overfertilization.

At first glance, I would also have thought that overwatering was the problem. But with that much perlite in the soil, I'd say that this would be pretty difficult to do.

You could add a drop or two of dishwashing detergent to a gallon of water, and water the plants with that next time. This'll act as a wetting agent, and will help the soil absorb water more evenly for the next few waterings. Keep us updated.

Have you done a soil runoff pH test?

You had mentioned that you're lowering your water pH to 5.5-6 when it started around 6.9-7? Leave your water at it's 7 pH; soil plants like the pH to be circa 6.8 so your original water is much better than your pHed water.

Nah,ive not done a run off test yet as Ive not fed that much. Its interesting about the ph of soil grows,I read about that a while back,but didnt take it in as Ive started growing hydro.Thanks all. I`ll keep you posted.

wondering if they're not getting rootbound ... try moving up to larger pots, I think they'll perk up ... :smokin:

Will do,Ive checked the drainage holes in the bottom and no sign of roots popping through.

They seemed to have perked up with a pot change,they did look a bit root bound, will post pics in a few days depending on outcome.
