Its BS
Mythtastic
MYTHBUSTED! lol
wtf i hope ur not serious man ya... lol
Maybe weed pipe-smokers for certain people (e.g. people prone to high blood pressure) but the same ought to be true for joint-, bong-, and vaporizer-smokers too. But if there was any evidence that any form of tobacco makes you live longer, I'm sure we wouldn't stop hearing about it from the tobacco companies.
Who wants to live forever.....
It's a bit like saying that people who drive cars, live longer than people who get run over by cars....
..no, scratch that analogy..it was crap
Ok..it's a bit like saying that air travel is safer (statistically) than car travel...but when you consider that the amount of people who drive, far outwieghs the amount of people who fly in planes, the we can quickly see that this 'fact' is untrue.
Smoking Kills - period.
It can kill you in 50 different ways.
So can stepping onto the street...so can drinking alcohol...so can child birth...so can alot of things.
If I could afford to make the choice, then I would smoke only weed, and only from a pipe - but more from a purist position than a 'healthy' outlook to life.
If you analysed the air-quality of any major inner city, then I suspect that you'd find a whole lot more that will kill you, than you would find in your habit.
You start dieing from the moment that you're born.
Some people live a clean and healthy lifestyle - they dont drink, smoke, or have a great deal of sex - but they can still be knocked over by a car...
The trouble is, these so-called experts can't seem to agree on anything when in comes to what's good and what's not...
"Chocolate is good for you!"
Yay!
"Oh no, sorry..chocolate is bad for you...but red wine is good for you!"
Hmm...
"Oops..sorry, new evidence reveals that chocolate is good for you, red wine is bad, and getting knocked down by a car can seriously damage health....unless you get knocked down by the new FoamCar - a car made entirely out of foam :D"
I bought a FoamCar the other day - pleased as punch I was...until it rained ...now, instead of a nice 4-seater, I got a soggy pile of foam the size of a coach!...shoulda read the small print, I guess:
"FoamCar is not suitable for wet conditions, and should be garaged at ALL TIMES...like, 24hours a day...forever...and if you have a child prone to wetting, then FoamCar may not be the best purchase you'll ever make."
Bloody FoamCars!..Bah!..They should be banned..BANNED, I say!!! grrrr
Yeah, really. There's no way that's true, and even if somebody ran some surveys and decided it is, there's no way to gauge it. Pipe-smokers can also, say, have sickle-cell anemia. There's just no way to measure pipe-smokers against non-pipe-smokers.
