I trade weed for weed all the time. Trade a gram of dro for a half ounce of reg. Sell the half and make enough money to get three grams of dro. Then the chain keeps going from there. Other things I have traded have been a USB Headset, pack of cigarettes, a cigarette for a joint, and one of my shirts for an ounce. Now I miss that shirt but whatever.
strobe light, digi scale, cigarettes, food, video games, you name it..
Things I've traded for herb...
Lights
Beer
Pesto
Different herb
Smoking implements
Dinner
Plants
I know I'm forgetting something... let's hear it for barter!
Package of spaghetti noodles! Jesus christ who did that trade a crackhead!? lol...
for me it would be:
cigarettes
beer
ps2 (for a 1/4 of weed yes I was desperate at the time lol)
games
dvds
videos
sound system
i traded my room mate my old scale for an 1/8th once
Good thing about trading weed is that if you get it cheap or grow it you can trade it for things cheaper if you get me?
Whoever you're trading a g of dank for a half of regs with, is a complete moron.Quote:

I collect swords and knives, and have way more than I should. My place is overrun with sharp objects at this point, and occasionally I'll have a friend offer me a bag of smoke for one of my blades. If it isn't a fav of mine and the weed is good, sometimes I'll make the trade.
I dig the vibes here. I always find it unfortunate that such a special herb is consigned to capitalistic nature. The fact that herb is normally sold for money strains the goodness and innocence of it, and makes it really hard to carry on a weed hobby and still afford everything else required by life. I think it's great that dealers are willing to be flexible in payment methods; it's just more consistent with the all-around feel of the plant. Rigid capitalism is a detriment to society; weed should be something contrary to it.
I grow enough for myself normally, and I would never accept money for it. Mostly because the person paying would feel satisfied with the transaction, but I feel empty, like I sold a portion of my own patience, love and soul for a few bucks, as is they were a commodity. Before I grew and had incremental amounts at a time, nothing was more offensive to me than when someone offered five bucks or so to be smoked out. A smoke session should be uniting and elevating; involving money totally cheapens it. It's that same kind of person that smokes to get "fucked up" or tries to medicate himself with a substance in his frustrating, mundane life.
