completely noob needs advice!

hey guys, had some questions for you growers maybe someone can help me out. my dealer ran outta haze the other say so i just got some regz from him instead which is pretty shitty bud with alotta seeds. anyways i still got the seeds i was wondering if i could possibly grow somethin outta them.. i dont care about the quality or quantity or watever it would just be a small experiment for fun i guess.. is it possible to grow without the crazy lighting and taking like extremely good care of them everyday and all that stuff?? is there like a simple way of doing this? lol just wondering... some helpful links would be nice :) thxx

Lots of CFLs, a couple of rubber maid tubs, good soil, and a quiet closet, and you're in business! You won't get quite the yield of using a HPS, but for one person, you can do very well!

Start under 24/7 or 18/6. Lights should be 3-4 inches from the plants. The bigger they get under that sort of lighting, the more bud you will get. Ripening may take a week or two more, but good things are worth waiting for! - Granny:hippy:

thanks but im not too familiar with some terms, CFLS? 24/7? 18/6?? as far as lighting, leaving them by the window isnt enough right? lol

CFL: compact flourescent lighting
24/7: 24 hrs a day 7 days a week
18/6: a common light cycle for veg. growth 18hrs on 6 off
12/12: the change in light cycle to trigger flower production in cannabis 12 on 12 off
Leaving them by the window is not enough you need to have a room with no light leaks
an interruption in the light cycle while in 12/12 will interrupt bud production.
Please read the grow faq. There are alot of things to learn and this is a great place to learn them.

so i read this and it is now my plan. (to use cfls and everything, since i have no money)
and i was just wondering if any one knows like a detailed description of how to grow with them (like, when i should have the lights on, when i should water, where the lights should be, nutrients?, you know, all that good stuff) as well as the cheapest of all the other stuff i will need (like nutrients i guess...). like i see that Storm Crow said lots of rubber maid tubs... you mean the big plastic ones? so you just fill those up with the soil and plant in them?
as you can most likely tell now im an extreme noob to growing. but PLEASE HELP ME!
