Bowl Burning Manners!

I'm starting this thread cause I'm tired of certain people who burn all the green on the first hit.

Please tell me I'm not alone on this....
When I spark a bowl of nice good sh!t. I light just the corner of the bowl and smoke, then the next person works counter-clockwise burning only as much green as necessary.
But occasionally I smoke with someone devoid of bowl courtesy. They light up and scorch the entire bowl on just there hit, leaving everyone else to smoke on some ash.
Then there's the person who huffs and puffs 3-4 good hits of weed before actually taking the hit. Thinking that somehow they need to have the bowl burning at 700 degrees to get a good hit.

Does anyone else suffer from this from time to time?? or am I being overly anal. I see in my "minds eye" all the trichomes melting while the offender gets there one good hit. The rest of the bowl doesn't taste as good anymore. and I'm fairly certain I don't get as high after them(though it could be my frustration).

You are right on with this..it is just common weed smoking courtesy not to scorch the wholebowl

But the thing I am REALLY anal about is Blunts...

Spark a blunt hit hit pass ya know?

I fucking hate people who will hit it tell a story hit it whle telling a story then hit it again and again and then pass...

Half of its gone now and its only the 2nd person... WTF?!?

OMG YES!
One of my good friends has like no stoner etiquette at all and like EVERYTIME he will just torch the entire bong bowl, just thinking about himself, nobody else:( Everytime I torch a bowl I make sure and leave a little fresh green so that my bud on the left will have the same enjoyment as I did:thumbsup:
Lol it's funny we always like joke around and tell him to just torch the side and he just ignores me....shits starting to bug me a little. It's like when its just us two, I'll load a bowl and after I hit it I say goodbye to the greens cause I know after my caveman friend gets
through with it, the whole shit will be black:mad:.

All my friends make a joke. We get the blunt from that person then pretend to bang on the blunt and say: "Boom,boom,boom,testing is this thing on?"

I have tweaked on people over this. Thats one of the reasons I started this thread. After telling someone "where to go" during a normally happy toke session, I wondered if I was being rude.
But if you were all my friends then you'd be happy I called them out. Maybe some of my friends are too.

why is the green hit so important? you know that usually on the other side of the nugs you packed into the bowl theres more green right? its not a two dimensional object......

It's not so much a matter of "green". Its really a matter of trichs. In one felt swoop the offender has vaporized every trichome in the bowl. That person enjoys a nicer hash-style high. While every one else has to burn more plant matter to get the same amount of high.

But thats not the way it works cause the offender is there for the second round.
It's like you eating half a banana and handing me the rotted other half. sure its still a banana, but its not as good as the fresh half. then you take a bite of my rotted half, now I'm getting shorted period.

you should just smoke your own bowl, pack a bowl cash it pass it

thats how i was taught, i thought it was just common ettiquete, the only other person i find around me that does this are girls, girls are terrible.
i dunno, id be pretty bent too, with girls i can let it slide sometimes as long as theyre not bitches, but with me a keep a small pack of friends, and if youre not in it, you usually dont smoke with me in the first place. so i guess i kind of screen the idiots out, but if i did have one, i think it would be wiser to educate them, because they just probably have never had it pointed out to them before
