New growth twisted and disfigured?
Well im fighting a mite infestation, currently using a mite spray whilst i wait for my neem oil to arrive in the via snail mail. However i recently (like 40 minutes ago) found alot of the newer growth on my plant is twisted and disfigured...not sure whats causing it and id like to stop it before it hurts her anymore. She was recently flushed, gave her last flush a 50% str nute solution so she'd have something to eat. Hasnt recieved any watersince the flush which occured 3 days ago. So...anyone got any ideas?

ph/overfert/heat.....those three come immediately to mind

Wow, that looks pretty rough. I have no idea what the problem could be, but here's a link that might help you figure it out:

Hopefully you can find some info there to turn things around.

hmmm well I'll guess its over ferting then. Since it was just flushed really cant be the ph (i ph'd the water) and thinking back on it i think i went higher then 50% str. As well as the fact that i did "the temp is too high" dance already and solved that problem real good like. Ty again weedhound...your like my hero, always there to anwsers me ^^.
edit: will the growth eventually correct itself once i flush again and back off on a bit on the ferting, or is the newer stuff permanently damaged?

I see a couple possibilities.
One, toxic salt buildup/low pH/cold wet soil combination. I don't know where you are, but in the northeast US we are finally getting low temps and if you want to see a plant act sad, put it on a cold floor in a cold room and overwater it. The flushing way have contributed if your soil was not free-draining enough. Cold, wet, soils make ANY problems look much worse, and pH problems are the WORST combined with low temps and excess moisture.
The other one is overdoing the bug spray. I'm not sure what you are using but you should as general practice make a light initial application and raise the lights, then watch to see if your plants are okay after a day, and THEN bring light back to full intensity.

Also, what is the pH of your water. I thought I needed to flush my plants a while back, so I flushed them out with probably 30 gallons of water....
I bought a pH meter the next day and tested my tap water (the tap water I had just flushed with) and it ended up being 8.5. Long story short, the only time my water is the right pH from the tap is when I add nutes or ph lower. You may have just flushed your plants with a bad pH, similar to how I did. Just my 2 cents :)

well it is starting to get colder here (im in nc) but the plant sits inside one bucket, thats suspended over another bucket which then sits inside of a rubber maid container on a carpeted floor, and i rarely let my ambient room temp drop below 70. So i doubt its temps, but ill keep an eye on it anyways would much rather catch a potential problem before it gets worse.
Ive done the whole pH dance before so now i make sure t hat EVERYTHING that goes into that pot is pH balanced. The water that i flushed with was pH'd at around 6.6-6.9, my pen is a bit whiney sometimes, so i checked with an aquarium pH check chem kit and it gave roughly the same results.
Im fairly sure its probably any one of a combination of either.
Overfert
or Over doing the bug spray (im impatiently waiting for my neem oil).

This is why i come here and ask questions, stinky looks like you were right. I took the temp around a few different spots in the room that the rubbermaid tubs set up in and found out that the intake is sucking in colder air (the tube that the intake sucks from is actually sittin near a window, kinda surprised my dumb face didnt catch that). Moved the end of the intake, to a different spot and finally busted out the space heater to help keep the room a few degrees higher.
Thanks to ya'll again for the advice, always nice to know that i can come here, present ya'll with a problem and ya'll will give me your opinions. Makes troubleshooting so much easier/quicker.

Thanks for the kind words Gundari.......Stinky is my hero too. ;)
