Growing from seeds.

Anyways.....noob question...
but are you able to grow a plant just from the seeds you get off a bud?

I always just assumed you needed to buy seeds online because they were treated/matured.

Once again very noobish, so sorry.

If possible, what would the steps be to get the seed ready to plant, i believe i read something about putting the seeds in rice?

Yo. Welcome. There's a whole cultivation section. I'm moving this.
Rice is for long-term seed storage. Keeps excess moisture from damaging them.
