Ventilation ideas.
Ok, here is a pic of an idea for some light baffles i am thinking about building, since i currently have no intake for my ventilation.
It is a light baffle system, where i willl be cutting out 4 square holes 4" x 4" on the bottom of a wall in my grow area and cover them with baffles i will be making, most likely out of tough cardboard. Take a look tell me what u think?

it looks good. the only thing i would do is add some intake holes on the opposite side of the exhaust.

Thanks Keeko. I would have putthe intake holes on the opposite side of the exhaust but my grow area is in my closet as u can see from this pic i just drew up (attachment below). I was thinking about putting them on the wall of the grow area facing out of the closet, but i put them where they are at so i could close my right closet door to maintain stealth, so i could leave my other closet door open to feed the intake holes.
Do u think this will still work alright??

what is the square footage of your space?
2 reasons i ask
1. the fan you are using my not be beefy enough to cool correctly.
2. you my be able to get by with a smaller light which will keep the temperature lower
here is a link to a fan that may work better. I'm no expert by any means, i just have been reading a lot of the posts in here for awhile for help myself

well my room 2' x 4' x 8' which i got comes out to 64' squared. And im not getting a new light, i love my light, whats wrong with my light??? no im just joking, but yea umm i'm not getting a new light cause i just bought mine.

you have 8 square feet not 64, height does not matter in area.
but yeah your light is good so i would try to get a new fan. the one i linked you will work great in a area that size. i don't know the type of reflector you have for your light, but if it is a kind you are able to attach duct to it that would cool it down even more

Its just the kind that came with my light, and no u cant connect duct work to it. Ill take a look at that fan again too. This is of no offense, more of just a question, but why if height does not matter when measuring area of a room are exhaust fans measured by cfm's (cubic feet per minute), cubic being L x W x H?

Usually when u want to figure out if u have enough light you just need to measure area (L x W) but when u want to figure out stuff for air you will usually use cubic volume(L x W x H) which is what fans use...
