My Hairspray Adventure

So I have this friend who's obsesed with musicals. He's not gay or metro or anything he just loves to sing and dance hahahaha anyway. He won these 2 voucher for 1 free ticket to the sneak peak of the movie Hairspray. So I have nothing else to do on this boring summer day so I decide to tag along and see a free movie.

I drove seperately and in the parking lot I smoked a couple bowls to prepare myself for the movie. BTW just so you all know I am an easy bake oven (especially back then) so I was flying after these 2 bowls. :smokin:

I walk in there 5 minutes before the SNEAK PREVIEW is supposed to start (bad idea) and the thing about these free ticket voucher is you need to wait in the ticket line to get the actual tickets to go in (luckily I figured all of that out before I was high.) So while I'm waiting in line I see a manager walking by and I ask him about the voucher. He then tells me that the show is already sold out, so the only thing he can do is exchange the voucher for 2 free tickets to Hairspray after its been released. But of course not even wanting to really see this movie I didn't give a shit but I took the free tickets anyway.

I then had to decide between buying a ticket to a another movie, going home ooorrr just trying to walk in. So I start walking towards the ticket rippers and take out my cell phone and pretend to be talking to someone as I walk by. As I'm doing this I hear the ticket ripper say something like, "They're gonna search you." I didn't figure out what that meant at the time so I jsut kept walking. The ticket ripper person was also a kid and didnt really give a shit.

Then I see the entrance to the theatre with Harispray. Outside the doors there was a table with 2 security guards and another employee standing there. At this point I'm tripping out hard wondering why the fuck these guys were there and why they had belts and shit. So I sort of veered towards the bathroom doors but sorta just decided at the last second to try going in.

I walk up to one of the security guards after doing my weird zig zag walk and the security guard asks,"Are you coming back in?"
to which I replied, "Yes." So just when I think I'm in the security guard tells me to SPREAD MY ARMS?!! He takes out a metal detector and starts searching me!! It made those little zippy sounds just like in the movies. I don't think I've ever tripped out so hard in my life. I did later realize that he was searching for a video camera but at the time I was thought they were lookign for guns and shit and my mind was just racing about why someone would bring a gun into a movie theatre. :eek:

I'm finally inside I found my friend who was in the audience saving a seat for me which isn't even rightfully mine. He goes, "Are you high?" To which I replied, "This movie is gonna be awesome." So we were just sitting there waiting for the movie to start but then as it gets closer and closer to show time theres a bunch of people at the front and the sides that didn't have seats! So there was people up and down the stairs/aisles looking all over the place. At the time I thought they were looking for me, trying to seek me out because one of these people was the manager I talked to before. Then that combined with all the constant chatter of people talking all over the place I started freaking out again. But again I was mistaken yet again they were just people looking for a few extra empty seats hahaha. So finally the movie started and not only did I get to see Hairspray but I got 2 extra tickets to sell to my friend to see next week muhahahaha :thumbsup:

And as for the movie... I honestly don't even remember it and haven't seen it since. The only thing I remember is that John Trovolta shouldn't have been in it.
