ok well this was supposed to be a short post but ill make it long but yea fuck it...


ok so here goes my throe on legal meds in the sattes that have it.... there doing it cuz its a pot friendly state and they want to legalize it this is why u can get it for anything anyreason u just have to be regestered... there simply trying to see how bad it is when they have evidence that half the population is high.... so its just a step in legalizing for all.... it is technically for medical reasons but u dont need any real medical reasons to get it... at least in so cal



some ppl tink u need osme cancer or bs but the law states that u can get medical weed for any reason as long as the doctor approves it.... the trick is u gotta find the right doctor which is easybut yea peace

That is true. as long as your doctor says it would be helpful for you,you have a legal leg to stand on. I ont mind jumping through their beaurocratic hoops if I think it will make a difference in the long run. Play the game and do your part to make it legal for you. Makes sleeping easier.:jointsmile:

People will always do what they can to get drugs they may not need medically, I could easily get some hard prescription drugs if I wanted them, does that mean the reason we can be prescribed drugs such as vicodin or any other prescription drug is simply to fulfill the populations recreational use of those drugs? Of course not.

I guarantee if we had a vote to legalize pot it would not get nearly as much support as a vote for only legalizing pot for medical uses.

what im sayin is that i think the gov. wants people to get medical cannabis so they have evidence when they want to legalize... i am talking about state goverment

it's actually pretty simple.

if you can smoke a bowl instead of taking a vicodin to relieve pain, or instead of some sleep drug to battle insomnia, then there's no reason why marijuana should not be prescribed to you. the truth is that this all natural plant is much better for us than some pills. (or many other things sold in stores every day with no problems)

as far as people taking advantage and using it just to get fucked up, that is the case with ANYTHING :) just because some kids like to get fucked up on cough syrup, doesn't mean we should make it illegal for sick people to buy that same cough syrup ;)

I don't believe voters are voting in medical marijuana laws to pave the way for full legalization, many polls have been conducted and there still seems to be a large majority of people that only want the drug legal for medical uses but not recreation. Keep in mind that when the average person thinks about medical marijuana, they usually assume it will be for people that are dying, not people with minor pains and such. I do believe most people are still in the "reefer madness" state of mind and fear marijuana legalization.

Some people are, yes. But honestly, people are starting to understand. I have seen A LOT more people be more open to the concept. The madness is slowly being broken... But yes, there are still people who think it's ok to take the average prescription drug, like adderall and ritalin. Strangely enough, these are amphetamines. It's basically legal speed, and I sometimes wonder if the pharmaceutical companies want people to abuse it and get high on it. Most likely so, seeing as how the industry works.

However, the news still portrays cannabis as being bad. People in general don't really understand drugs, yet believe they know all about them. A lot of people don't know that most drugs are molecularly similar to natural endorphins (such as seratonin and dopamine) created directly in your brain! For instance, cocaine acts on dopamine receptors. Drugs kind of "sneak" their way into your brain, in a way. More likely, though, your brain cannot very easily identify the difference, because they are molecularly similar.

As a side note, it's strange that our brains have cannabinoid receptors. Therefore, if my assumption is correct, THC and other cannabinoids don't need to sneak their way in. Your body actually produces cannabinoids naturally, called endocannabinoids. And as most of you know, cannabinoids are a wide range of substances.

It would help if people put a little bit more effort into trying to write a little more clear. Damn near every one I open on this site has some post where you could take it 3 different ways. No periods. No commas. Relax people. Put your thoughts together and get what you mean to say across clearly.

Not everyone has the same education and speech patterns are different in many! A lot of people are not afforded any education. Some feel comfortable in their living room and with everyone they write as they speak and don't sit for hours deciding to write ( or years). It seems demeaning to me to not have an open enough mind to realize, that is as good as it gets for that person. Make yourself feel good, having to speak so well while others in our country haven't the luxury of what you have going for you.

The nice thing is; this is a computer and you can click the mouse and make it disapear--without being rude! But we are judging manners not writing then; Excuse me, I do not have all night to pre-think this, or I would delete!
