is it possible to take clone on day 2 of flower and put it into veg?

Hello!
I was planning on cloning one of my plants tonight but I couldn't do it in time. .

The plan was to take a mother out of my 18gal DWC res and stick it in a 5 gallon bucket prepared to keep it in veg and take some clones.

Well it didn't really work out as planned all 6 plants' roots are tangled up with each other.

Problem is I wanted to take clones and tomorrow is day 2 of 12/12 Will it be too late to take clones from one of my plants and put it in my veg room?

it would be just fine
