Growing good bud with out all the rifraf?

I just chopped up my mother plant into a bunch of wee little clones , I was wondering if I could grow with about 5 CFLs to 4 clones? I don't want to get to advanced with all these diffrent Hps or Mh err ne of that... Will CFLs, through vegging then add more during flowering, produce a good yeild for my 4 clones? Any help is much appreciated!:smokin:

I doubt it. That's why people do all the "rifraf" To get a yield worth all the work. ;)

Check link for grows, pref closet grow thread. I cut 4 clones into about 40 cuttings and rooted with 2 26w CFLs.

Also, I veg w/ about 4-6 CFLs usually 4, 2 48 w and 2 26w and do so with 5 plants on average with superb growth rates.

However, no need to get advaced ALOT of CFLs will still produce killer buds, but considering you need about 8 48w to produce the lumen output of light thats the ideal spectrum for flowering of a single small 150w hps bulb, why not??? No body said you need 600-1000w fixtures. Even the small 70w home depot garrage hps lights give more bang for buck. And as we all know, electricity is far from cheap :\

Not just that, but its also a hell of alot cheaper to replace 1 bulb vs xxxxx many :)
