Wher's the music start

Ok I'm high and listening to Kanye's new lp and I like the sample from older songs and original R&B. I googled a few of the lyrics that he has on "I Wonder" and all I got were his lyrics and none others and it came to me like a mid summer sunrise. He's sampling shit and systematically phasing the original copies of his songs so people wont A sample it further or B give him credit. I think a lot of musicians who are doing covers and taking samples need to make it clear where they came from.Does anyone agree or disagree and why so?

Hell kids are going to be raised on a foundation of good music and will know not where to turn to further their experiences.

Does anyone know any sites that says where people sample things from....
