How long does it take for the bud to fully grow? and be able to be takne off the tree
It varies per strain, but normally from the time flowering is induced it will take about 2 months, give or take a couple weeks. In general it is the plants particular photo period that determines how long it will take. It also depends on nutrients, lighting, humidity, and other stuff. If there's a lot of light, and everything is perfect, grow times can be reduced. I've heard of some taking over 3 1/2 months, but that's kind of unusual.
The amount of time a plant spends before flowering is induced varies widely. It depends on available space and stuff. You can veg a plant for 10 years in a warehouse and end up with a truckload of buds, or you can veg for 2 weeks and end up with a half ounce.
Usually if it is a pure Indica strain, you are looking at 7-9 weeks for flowering.
If it is a pure Sativa strain, they can run as long as 12-14 weeks for flowering.
The hybrids typically run 8-10 weeks for my personal experience.
FYI - THIS INFO IS BASED UPON INDOOR GROWING
If it is a pine tree it could take awhile. If you are lucy enough to be growing a Poplar then the time is shorter. Don't get me started on Oak trees!!!:D
spongebobsmokepants, I love your name.
Marijuana does exist in the tree category. Many people used to worship at the sacred MJ tree.
HELL!!! That IS a tree!!
By the way many people still do worship it! hehe:stoned:
Well, most don't actually worship MJ. There are some religions that center there beliefs and activities around weed. Others like me just worship a god, and believe that the god made everything for humans to enjoy, take care of, and use, including weed.
